Yes.

ISO 37001:2025 is the current second edition, published in February 2025. The previous ISO 37001:2016 edition has been withdrawn.

Is ISO 37001 mandatory for every company in Malaysia?

No.

ISO 37001 is not generally mandatory for every Malaysian organisation. However, particular regulatory, procurement, contractual or registration requirements may require ABMS certification.

For example, CIDB has announced implementation of ABMS certification requirements for G7 contractors applying for or renewing SPKK beginning January 2027.
